3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process this data to receive, assess and respond to your inquiry; prepare technical or commercial proposals; communicate about the requested project; maintain security; prevent abuse; keep necessary business records; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in responding to genuine business inquiries and protecting our systems. Where applicable law requires consent for a separate purpose, we request that consent separately. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

4. Recipients, processors and international transfers

Access is limited to authorised SEKLIFT commercial, engineering, service, legal, finance and IT personnel who need the information for the purposes above. We may also disclose data to hosting, email, security and professional-service providers, or to public authorities where legally required.

The inquiry form is delivered through SplitForms, which acts as a form-processing provider. SplitForms states that it stores form fields, files, IP address, user-agent, referrer and timestamp, and currently uses infrastructure in the United States, including Vercel, Supabase/AWS and AWS SES. International transfers are handled through applicable contractual and legal safeguards, including SplitForms’ Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant.

For details about that provider, see the SplitForms GDPR information, privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum.

5. Retention

We retain inquiry data only as long as needed to evaluate and respond to the request, administer any resulting business relationship, comply with record-keeping duties and handle legal claims. Non-customer inquiry records are reviewed for deletion no later than four years after the last meaningful project-related interaction unless a longer period is required by law or an active business relationship.

SplitForms publishes service-level retention periods of 30 days, 365 days or 1,460 days depending on the account plan, with earlier deletion available and backups rotating within 30 days after account deletion.

6. Security and project files

We use HTTPS and organisational access controls appropriate to the nature of the information. SplitForms states that submissions are encrypted in transit and at rest and protected by access keys, rate limits, row-level controls and spam filtering. No online system can provide absolute security.

Direct uploads are limited to common project-document and image formats, a maximum of five files and 5 MB per file. For larger or sensitive project packages, contact us first to arrange an approved transfer method.

7. Your data-protection rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we process your data and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, information about recipients, or objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Under Article 11 of Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you also have the rights provided to data subjects under that article. If the GDPR applies, the relevant rights include Articles 15–22. You may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Authority or an applicable EU/EEA authority.

To exercise a right, email info@seklift.com with the subject “Privacy request” and enough information for us to identify the relevant inquiry. We may request proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing data.

8. Cookies, logs and external links

The form endpoint itself does not set SplitForms cookies in visitors’ browsers. This website and its hosting/security layers may use necessary cookies and server logs for operation, security, language preferences and administration. If non-essential analytics or advertising tools are introduced, this notice and any required cookie controls must be updated before those tools are enabled.

External websites have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing personal data.

9. Children and changes to this notice

This business-to-business website and inquiry form are not directed to children. Do not submit information about a child.

We may update this notice when our processing, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
